Worthey Pet Care offers reliable, compassionate, and professional pet transportation and veterinary escorting services across all five boroughs of New York City and surrounding areas. Whether it’s a scheduled vet visit, a grooming appointment, airport transfer, or relocation service, our trained staff ensures every pet is transported safely, calmly, and comfortably—with or without their owner.

Our services are ideal for pet parents with busy schedules, mobility challenges, or those who prefer not to travel with their animals during appointments or transitions.

We provide roundtrip or one-way transportation for pets to their veterinary, grooming, or therapy appointments. A trained Worthey Pet Care escort accompanies the pet and communicates with the vet or facility on behalf of the owner, when needed.

  • Escort through check-in and return with documents/notes

  • Local (0–3 miles): $45 – $60
     
  • Extended (3–7 miles): $65 – $85

If the owner wishes to accompany their pet but needs a ride, we provide pet + passenger transportation.

• Includes:
   
  • Pet restraint system & owner seating
     
  • Optional waiting during the appointment
     
• Rates: Starting at $50 (local); wait-time fees apply after 30 minutes
   

For services requiring us to wait on-site while the pet is in appointment or procedure.

• Wait Fee: $15 per additional 30 minutes
   
• Max wait time: 2.5 hours per appointment block
   

Worthey Pet Care provides pet drop-offs or pickups for domestic air travel out of major NYC airports: JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark.

  • Transport to cargo terminal or pet check-in
     
  • Proper crate handling and documentation assistance
     
  • Comfort check before flight
     
  • Optional pickup from terminal and delivery home
     
• Rates:
   
  • Within NYC to/from airport: $100 – $150
     
  • Escort-only without owner: +$25
     
  • Luggage or accessory transport: +$10–$20
     

When a family or pet parent is moving, we offer supervised pet transportation to the new home (within NYC or surrounding states).
